Definitions

  • the invention relates to a product carrier strip.
  • Product carrier strips are frequently used to present products such as, for example, medicines, sweets, parts of technical kits and the like, clearly and-in the case of medicaments and foodstuffs-to the consumer.
  • the product carrier strip has a transponder circuit.
  • the serial number, batch number, expiration date, etc. of, for example, the medicament tablets arranged on a product carrier strip according to the invention can be detected and, if desired, stored electronically.
  • the detection can be automatic, for example if the product carrier strip in a larger outer packaging - possibly with other product carrier strips - passes through a gate.
  • the product carrier strip comprises a blister foil having bubble-shaped receiving chambers for products.
  • the number of Aufitz ⁇ chambers is arbitrary, but usually a plurality (more than two) Aufnah ⁇ meschn available.
  • the bubble-shaped receiving chambers are closed by at least one push-through foil.
  • the push-through film is metallic, it is provided with a recess according to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention.
  • the edge of the recess acts as an antenna for the electromagnetic interrogation and response signals. It is advantageous to arrange the transponder circuit in the region of the recess, wherein it is further advantageous to couple the transponder circuit via a wire bridge to the push-through foil, more precisely, to the part of the push-through foil surrounding the cutout this way to connect the transponder circuit to the antenna.
  • a non-metallic (electrically non-conductive) film is used as a puff-on.
  • the provision of recesses in the push-through foil is dispensable in this embodiment of the invention.
  • non-metallic films plastic films, polymer films, polypropylene films and, in particular, non-elastic polypropylene films have proven suitable.
  • the last-mentioned film is particularly advantageous because the non-elasticity causes the film to tear immediately as soon as the consumer presses in a receiving chamber of the blister film in order to push a product, for example a tablet, out of the receiving chamber through the push-through film. The effect is similar to the effect in the blister strips commonly used for metallic blister.
  • a transponder circuit whose operating frequency is in the range of 10 to 15 MHz is used in connection with non-metallic push-through foils.
  • transponder circuits with an operating frequency of 850 MHz to 2.5 GHz are also possible.
  • Transponder circuits with this working frequency the are advantageously equipped with a UHF chip module, can also be advantageously used in product carrier strip with metallic push-through film, provided that it is provided with a recess.
  • metallic push-through foils which are provided with a recess, can also be used as antenna, in particular when using transponder circuits with an operating frequency of 850 MHz to 2.5 GHz.
  • antennas for the transponder circuit can be attached to the product carrier strip, in particular to the push-through foil.
  • Particularly advantageous is the printing of the antennas or the etching of an antenna made of a metal layer, since these processes can be incorporated into the production process for product carrier strips.
  • the transponder is provided with a removal sensor which determines when a product is removed from the product carrier strip.
  • the transponder then saves the withdrawal event with date and possibly also with time.
  • consumer behavior can also be “queried”, which is of particular importance in the field of pharmaceuticals in particular (research into so-called “patient compliance”).
  • the transponder circuit is arranged on at least one receiving chamber.
  • the transponder circuit is at a distance from the push-through foil which corresponds to the height of the receiving chambers. Even if the fürdgur ⁇ film is metallic, a sufficient transmission and / or reception quality can be ensured due to the distance between the transponder circuit and the push-through.
