Abstract

An ink cartridge for printer is disclosed which comprises a casing, a cover, and ink bags. Each kind of colorful ink is filled into its individual ink bag, which is mounted in the casing in an assembled manner. The ink bag has a negative-pressure mechanism for controlling the ink flow, and a flexible film is welded on a support for the ink bag. The ink contained in the ink bag flows into or out of an ink chamber via the negative-pressure mechanism during printing. There is not any air-intake system in the ink bag. The shape of the flexible film varies with the capacity of the ink bag. The ink contained in the ink bag should separate from air as much as possible, so that air couldn't enter into the ink-outlet.
