Abstract

The invention relates to heating devices used for heating different media by irradiation, convection or thermal conductivity. The technical result obtainable from the production of the inventive electric heater consists in that it makes it possibility to ensure a uniform thermal current along the entire length of a heating element, to keep output connections which are arranged and crimped on the electric heater terminals cold independently of the power and operational time thereof and to solderlessly connect the heating element and a cold output, thereby ensuring the high reliability, service time and the operational safety of the inventive device. The inventive device is embodied in the form of an electric heater which is provided with cold outputs and comprises a heating element (2) in the form of a wire made of high electrical resistivity alloys, tubes which are made of low electrical resistivity materials and arranged and crimped on the ends of the heating element in the form of cold outputs, an insulating filler (3), a metal shell (1) encompassing said insulating filler, a sealant layer (7) protecting the end faces of the heater, an insulator (5) and a termination fitting (6).
