Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Schweißvorrichtung (1) zur Durchführung von Schweißprozessen mit einem Schweißgerät (2) und einem Schweißbrenner (10), wobei Betriebszustände der Schweißprozesse erfasst werden, und in Abhängigkeit der Betriebszustände von Personen wahrnehmbare Schwingungen erzeugt werden, sowie eine Schweißvorrichtung (1) und einem Schweißbrenner (10) zur Durchführung dieses Verfah­rens. Zur Schaffung der Möglichkeit eines Feedbacks von bestimmten Betriebszuständen an Personen, welche am Schweißprozess beteiligt sind, insbesondere dem Schweißer, ohne dass dieser den Blick von der Schweißstelle bzw. den Lichtbogen (15) wenden muss, ist vorgesehen, dass zur Erzeugung akustischer Schwingungen der beim Schweißprozess auftretende Lichtbogen, insbesondere der Schweißstrom (I) und/oder die Schweißspannung (U) in Abhängigkeit der Betriebszustände moduliert wird oder in Abhängigkeit der Betriebszustände mechanische Schwingungen erzeugt werden. Die Schweingungen werden vom Schweißer auch dann wahrgenommen, wenn er seinen Blick von der Schweißstelle bzw. dem Lichtbogen (15) nicht abwendet.
