  • Divisible cigarette to be halved before lighting it, and method of manufacturing it
  • This invention relates to a divisible cigarette to be halved before lighting it. Further, it concerns a method of manufacturing this divisible cigarette.
  • slim cigarettes are manufactured whose cross-section diameter is about 5 mm, while the diameter of a traditional cigarette is about 8 mm.
  • the slim cigarettes are not broadly accepted by smokers, who probably do not get used to pressing their lips on a thin rod as well as to having a different sensation in sucking the smoke compared to a traditional cigarette.
  • a slim cigarette has a tobacco content that is generally a half of a traditional cigarette, this tobacco is paid almost at double price with respect to the last one.
  • an alternative to slim cigarettes is to throw away the cigarette after the first few puffs.
  • Another alternative is to break off a portion of the cigarette before lighting it.
  • Both said alternatives are punitive, the one as a renunciation, the other as a self castration with the addition of a damage to the cigarette.
  • a smoker is financially damaged as if he/she bought slim cigarettes.
  • An object of the present invention is to half the tobacco smoked for each cigarette, and then the risk for the smoker and people near him/her.
  • Another object of the present invention is to reduce the amount of smoke inhaled without losing the enjoyment to light a cigarette and take the first puffs, which are the most pleasant.
  • a further object of the invention is to make more efficient the action of the filter- tip than in the traditional cigarette.
  • Yet another object of the present invention is to reduce the cost for the smoker due to his/her bad habit, without any waste. Yet a further object of the invention is to make the smoker responsible, giving him/her the possibility of halving the amount of tobacco smoked and bringing him/her to give up smoking.
