Procédé trouvant application dans un système de réseau et servant à établir une communication entre homologues de type P2P entre deux appareils d'utilisateur (UE). Ce procédé consiste à recevoir une demande d'appel en provenance de l'UE appelant parmi les deux UE (s102) ; à déterminer si les deux UE campent dans la même cellule (s105); à envoyer à l'UE appelant un message de recherche de correspondant lorsque les deux UE campent dans des cellules différentes (s106); à recevoir une réponse de recherche en provenance de l'UE appelant (s108); et à déterminer si les deux UE satisfont à l'exigence de communication de type P2P en fonction de la demande d'appel et de la réponse de recherche (s109). Selon un mode de réalisation, des informations de système sont envoyées à un UE afin que cet UE puisse se commuter sur la même cellule (s203), et des informations de ressource radioélectrique pour le sondage de liaisons entre homologues sont envoyées aux deux UE une fois qu'ils ont accès à la même cellule (s207).
