Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux installations de gaz ménagères ou industrielles et est destinée à protéger les systèmes d'alimentation en gaz dans des situations extrêmes, par exemple, pour couper le gaz en cas d'incendie. La soupape d'isolement thermique comprend un corps à écoulement direct qui comporte un siège et dans lequel est montée une douille de guidage et un verrou coulissant dans ladite douille. Le verrou est précontraint par ressort par rapport à la douille, en direction du siège, et est muni d'un moyen qui le retient en position ouverte ainsi que d'un élément thermosensible installé sur l'axe du corps. Ce dispositif se présente comme au moins deux tiges insérées dans des trous disposés diamétralement, qui sont faits dans la douille de direction et butent contre l'élément thermosensible. Par conséquent, on parvient à réduire les frais de fabrication, à simplifier le montage de la soupape et à réduire ses dimensions. Grâce à l'utilisation dans cette soupape d'un élément thermosensible ayant la forme d'un ballon (d'un 'bulbe') thermosensible, on augmente sa résistance aux vibrations, aux surcharges et aux chocs subis par la soupape.
