Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un bloc de bois d'oeuvre destiné à la construction de murs porteurs, qui comprend des éléments en bois horizontaux supérieur et inférieur, qui sont reliés par des éléments en bois verticaux espacés sur la longueur du bloc. Les éléments en bois supérieur et inférieur présentent des marques de calibrage situées entre les éléments en bois, qui permettent de découper le bloc à la taille requise sans couper au travers des éléments en bois. Un panneau de matériau en feuille fixé aux éléments en bois sur au moins l'un des côtés du bloc est doté d'incisions alignées avec les marques de calibrage, lesdites incisions aidant à la découpe du bloc.
