Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode de production d'un produit laminé en alliage d'aluminium, hautement tolérant aux dommages, présentant une grande dureté, et une résistance améliorée à la formation de fissures de fatigue. Cette méthode comprend les étapes consistant à: a) couler un lingot présentant une composition sélectionnée dans le groupe comprenant les alliages de série: AA2000, AA5000, AA6000, et AA7000; b) homogénéiser et/ou préchauffer le lingot après coulage; d)laminer le lingot à chaud pour obtenir un produit laminé à chaud, et éventuellement laminer à froid le produit laminé à chaud, pour obtenir un produit laminé à froid, caractérisé en ce que le produit laminé à chaud quitte le laminoir à chaud à une température de sortie de laminage à chaud (TExit) et que le refroidissement du produit laminé à chaud s'effectue de la température TExit à une température inférieure ou égale à 150 °C, avec un cycle de refroidissement contrôlé, présentant une vitesse de refroidissement s'abaissant pour atteindre la plage définie par: T(t)= 50-(50-TExit)eα.t, T(t) désignant la température (°C) en fonction du temps (hrs), t désignant le temps (heures) et α désignant la plage de 0,09±0,05 (hrs-1).
