Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing coated workpieces, comprising the following steps: a) electrodeposition of one or more layers containing at least one metal and/or metal alloy on a substrate and b) thermal treatment of the coated substrate at a temperature of between 300 °C and 1000 °C, in such a way that at least the surface layer of the substrate and the layer or layers applied in step a) partially and/or completely interdiffuse. The invention also relates to coated workpieces that are produced by said method.
