Selon ledit procédé, la sélection des téléphones individuels peut se faire de façon différenciée. A cet effet, une information CLIP apportée avec un appel entrant est évaluée et le résultat de cette évaluation est soumis à d'autres analyses. Sur la base des résultats des autres analyses peut alors être effectuée la sélection différenciée. Dans un cas pratique concret, seul sonne le téléphone individuel d'un groupe de téléphones individuels, tel que mentionné, ci-dessus qui a mémorisé au moins un seul numéro de téléphone concordant avec ladite information CLIP.
