Abstract

In an image projection arrangement (1), images (2) are projected onto a projection surface (3) by means of an electrooptical arrangement (10) for generating and emitting light on the basis of image data (PD). A projection mode setting stage (32) serves to set various projection modes on the basis of projection mode parameters, wherein for each projection mode parameter a variable influencing device (11, 13, 21, 22, 28) can be controlled by means of the projection mode setting stage (32), and wherein at least some of the projection modes are characterized at least by different image sizes of the projected images (2) on the projection surface (3). By means of a projection mode selection device (30), a selection of a projection mode from the possible projection modes can be carried out by the projection mode selection device (30) outputting a projection mode selection signal (PMS) to the projection mode setting stage (32).
