Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de commander un système de communications sans fil. Une pluralité de stations de base sensiblement identiques, chacune d'elles étant capable de fonctionner à la fois comme un agent primaire et comme un agent secondaire, sont déployées. L'agent secondaire est capable de communiquer avec un dispositif mobile et l'agent primaire est capable de communiquer avec un réseau. Un ensemble actif de réseau associé à un dispositif mobile est formé à partir de la pluralité de stations de base. L'une de ces stations de base, dans l'ensemble actif de réseau, est sélectionnée afin de fonctionner comme un agent primaire, et signale aux autres stations de base que la station de base sélectionnée fonctionne comme un agent primaire. De ce fait, les communications entre le réseau et le dispositif mobile sont acheminées par l'intermédiaire de l'agent primaire et de l'agent secondaire sélectionné.
