Abstract

　還元剤を還元触媒の上流側に供給する噴射ノズルの目詰まりを防止してＮＯｘの浄化処理の効率を向上する。 　排気管１３内にて排気の流れ方向Ａと略平行に下流側に向けて延びる噴射ノズル１４の先端部（１８）の排気下流側端部の外周面に設けられたリング状の突条部分１９に、該噴射ノズル１４の軸心から外方に向けて穿設された噴射孔２０を設け、この噴射孔２０により還元剤を還元触媒の排気上流側に噴出する。この場合、上記噴射孔２０は、先端部（１８）の外周面に設けられたリング状の突条部分１９に形成されており、噴射ノズル１４の広い外周面上に直接開口していないので、噴射が終了した際に還元剤が噴射孔２０周辺の狭い領域に付着して残留することがないか、又は残留量が少なくなる。このことから、噴射ノズル１４の噴射孔２０が目詰まりするのを防止してＮＯｘの浄化処理の効率を向上することができる。
