Abstract

The invention relates to a combined pharmaceutical or nutritional supplement preparation containing glycyrrhizine, zinc, and a compound that is acceptable for oral administration and comprises at least one free thiol group or a group which is metabolized into a free thiol group in the body of a mammal. The inventive preparation is useful for fighting viral diseases, particularly influenza-type diseases.
