Abstract

On inclined installation of the segmented grinding platen (11, 12, 13) of a through belt grinding machine, the problem arises of the altered arrangement of the scanning element series (15) relative to a position for the segment series (11) which is different thereto, for example, at right angles. Zeichnung 1 zeigt die Situation bei geradem Schleifaggregat, bei welchem die Distanz d zwischen den Tastelementen mit der Distanz s zwischen den Segmenten übereinstimmt. Das Tastelement T und das Segment Si liegen ebenso wie das Tastelement Tn und das Segment Sn in zum Durchlauf paralleler Linie. Bei Drehung der Segment-Reihe um den Winkel α, wie in Zeichnung 2 dargestellt, verkleinert sich die Distanz s gegenüber der Distanz d. Zudem liegen Ti und Si sowie TT und Sn nicht mehr in Linie.
