Abstract

Provided is a tire capable of preventing a puncture, in which a fine hole is automatically made when the tire is worn down more than a predetermined depth, such that a puncture caused by the tire wear can be prevented previously. The tire includes a cone-shape groove formed from an inner surface of the tire to a wear limit mark thereof.

Description

A TIRE ABLE TO PREVENT PUNCTURE
Technical Field The present invention relates to a tire, and more particularly, to a tubeless tire of a vehicle, in which a fine hole is automatically made when the tire is worn down more than a predetermined depth, such that a puncture caused by the tire wear can be prevented previously.
Background Art Generally, though a wear limit is marked on a tire, some drivers disregard the wear limit and use the tire after the tire is worn down to the wear limit, such that a puncture possibly causing an accident can occur. In other words, since it is a troublesome work for drivers to check tire wear though the wear limit is marked on a tire, the drivers use the tire without checking the wear limit when there does not appear apparent disorder. Therefore, during the use of the worn-down tire, a puncture possibly causing an accident can occur.
Technical Problem Accordingly, the present invention has been devised to solve the above problems. An object of the present invention is to provide a tire capable of preventing a puncture, in which a fine hole is automatically made when the tire is worn down more than a predetermined depth, such that a puncture caused by the tire wear can be prevented previously.
Technical Solution To achieve this object and other advantages and in accordance with the purpose of the invention, as embodied and broadly described herein, there is provided a tire capable of preventing a puncture, in which a cone-shape groove is formed from an inner surface of the tire to a wear limit mark thereof.
Description of Drawings The accompanying drawings, which are included to provide a further understanding of the invention and are incorporated in and constitute a part of this specification, illustrate embodiments of the invention and together with the description serve to explain the principles of the invention. In the drawings : FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a tire capable of preventing a puncture according to the present invention; and FIG. 2 is an enlarged perspective view of "A" portion in FIG. 1.
Best Mode A tubeless tire of a vehicle includes a cone-shaped groove formed from an inner surface of the tire to a wear limit mark of the tire. Mode for invention Reference will now be made in detail to the preferred embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a tire capable of preventing a puncture according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged perspective view of "A" portion in FIG. 1. Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, there is a tubeless tire T for a vehicle and the tire T is inflated at a proper air pressure. A cone-shaped groove 30 is formed from an inner surface 10 toward a wear limit mark 20. An operation of the tire T capable of preventing puncture will not be described according to the present invention. When the tire T is worn down to the wear limit mark 20 by a friction between surfaces of the tire T and road, an inside gas of the tire T slowly leaks out though a fine hole formed by the cone-shaped groove 30. Due to the leakage of the inside gas, the vehicle declines in the direction where the leaking tire T is, such that a driver can easily notice the wear of the tire T and change the worn-down tire T. Herein, it is designed such that the inside gas of the tire T leaks slowly enough to give time to drive the vehicle until the worn-out tire T is changed. Therefore, the accident resulting from the worn-down tire can be prevented by using the present inventive tire T. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made in the present invention. Thus, it is intended that the present invention covers the modifications and variations of this invention provided they come within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.
Industrial Applicability According to the present invention, the fine hole is automatically made when the tire is worn down more deep than the wear limit mark, such that the puncture caused by the tire wear can be prevented previously.
