Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé d'établissement de communication vidéo et/ou audio répartie sur un réseau, tel qu'un réseau sur courant porteur en ligne (PLC). A titre d'exemple, le réseau est divisé en cycles périodiques dans lesquels chaque cycle comprend un certain nombre d'intervalles de temps. La synchronisation des cycles est déterminée par un cycle principal qui prend en charge la position lorsqu'il souhaite envoyer une émission et est incapable de détecter des cycles valides sur le réseau. Une partie de chaque cycle est réservée à l'émission de données asynchrones, le reste étant utilisé pour des flots de données isochrones. Avant l'émission d'un nouveau flot de données, un émetteur gagne un ou plusieurs intervalles de temps par arbitrage, le gagnant étant sélectionné en fonction de la priorité du flot de données à envoyer. Des émetteurs peuvent obtenir des intervalles supplémentaires afin d'améliorer la qualité, l'intégrité ou la sécurité du flot de données. Les mécanismes selon l'invention sont compatibles avec des dispositifs AMRC patrimoniaux.
