- the present invention relates to a hollow type impeller for a water surface shifter. More specifically, the invention relates to such a hollow type impeller for a water surface shifter, in which a driving force is transmitted from an engine of the water surface shifter via a roller-tooth wheel to a crown sprocket gear integrally formed with a hollow tube, so that the hollow tube and an impeller provided therein are rotated, and due to the rotating force of the impeller, air or water is sucked in and discharged at a high speed, thereby using the energy generated therefrom as a main or supplementary propulsive force for the water surface shifter.

- a support and guide portion 44 is formed and a sliding pad 42 for facilitating the sliding motion is inserted therein.

- the hollow type impeller of the invention can generate a concentrated propulsive force to thereby enable a high-speed gliding or cruise thereof, as compared with the conventional screw device causing a dissipation of propulsive force. Therefore, the technology of this invention will make a great contribution to the propulsion generator in the industry of vessel and aircraft manufacturing. While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
