Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for attaching fittings, such as dividers, product trays, etc., on shop and warehouse shelves, which shelves are provided with a mounting strip running along at least one longitudinal edge of the shelf, the said fitting being provided with a gripping device at one end, which gripping device is arranged to engage over a mounting strip arranged on the shelf when mounting said fitting.
  • a principal object of the present invention is to achieve an attaching device of the type described above, which comprises a gripping device, the function of which does not require any flexibility and which gripping device can therefore be manufactured out of a relatively cheap plastic material.

  • the gripping device is characterized in accordance with the present invention by the combination of at least one of the side walls of the recess or channel being designed with a projection projecting into the recess or channel, which projection is arranged to interact with a mounting strip arranged on the shelf when the fitting is mounted, in order to make unintentional removal of said fitting from the mounting strip by raising it up from the strip more difficult, and of said at least one side wall having, in addition, a ridge running -between said projection and the bottom of the recess or channel, which ridge is arranged to engage with the strip when a fitting is mounted on the mounting strip, which makes unintentional movement of the fitting along the mounting strip more difficult.

Abstract

Device for holding accessories such as shelf dividers, product trays, etc, at goods and storage shelves, which shelves are provided with a mounting strip (2) extending along at least one longitudinal edge of the shelf. The accessory (3) is provided at one end with a gripping device, which is arranged to grip over the mounting strip (2). The gripping device comprises a downwardly open channel (25), which is formed of two side walls and a joining portion. The channel extends essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the accessory (3). At least one of the channel walls is provided with protrusions extending into the channel. The protrusions are arranged to cooperate with the mounting strip (2) in order to prevent unintentional removal of the accessory. Fig. 2, 2A.
