- This invention relates to compounds for modulating protein kinase enzymatic activity for modulating cellular activities such as proliferation, differentiation, programmed cell death, migration and chemoinvasion. These include reagents like salts, neutral proteins, e.g., albumin, detergents, etc which may be used to facilitate optimal protein-protein binding and/or reduce non-specific or background interactions. Also reagents that otherwise improve the efficiency of the assay, such as protease inhibitors, nuclease inhibitors, anti-microbial agents, etc., may be used. The mixture of components may be added in any order that provides for the requisite binding.
- Schemes 1-4 depict general synthetic routes for compounds of the invention and are not intended to be limiting. Specific examples are described subsequently to these general synthetic descriptions. In the generalizations below, specific reaction conditions, for example, added bases, acids, solvents, temperature, and the like are not described so as not to complicate the discussion.
