Abstract

L'invention concerne une armoire de distribution dans laquelle est actionné un appareil ou un module électrique, en particulier un convertisseur ou un dispositif de régulation similaire destiné à une commande individuelle par moteur électrique, cet appareil ou ce module étant intégré dans un boîtier étendu relativement allongé et sensiblement parallélépipédique. Selon l'invention, ledit appareil ou module est disposé dans l'armoire de distribution de telle sorte que ses bords latéraux les plus longs s'étendent horizontalement et/ou parallèlement au sol ou au plafond de l'armoire de distribution. L'invention concerne en outre une salle de distribution équipée d'armoires de distribution de ce type, au moins une série d'armoires de distribution étant disposée le long d'une voie de service dont la largeur est supérieure à la longueur d'un appareil ou module une fois sorti de l'armoire de distribution.
