- the equ pment based on the presented invention is used in the same way as the exi sting articulated chains of the bushing and roller type, but mainly in appl cations where it is desirable to save space in the lateral direction. Its advantage of a cheaper construction consisting of a lower number of parts and the narrower range of types of plates forming the chain will be used.
