Description

Compact foldable or disassemblable sunshade headrest
Description
The compact foldable or disassemblable sunshade headrest makes it possible to sunbathe while protecting the head against sunlight or wind without using hats, caps, suntan creams, sunglasses and the like.
The device is made of three parts:
( ) a. lower circular base flat or slightly concave, on the top of which the head can rest;
(ϋ) an upper circular screen to protect the head against sunlight;
(M) a middle articulated, cylindrical stand to support the upper part on the lower part.
The circular screen turns around itself by means of a bowed rod. The bowed rod turns around itself and around the upper-lead of the stand by means of the corresponding joints. The articulated stand turns around an axis substantially perpendicular to the bottom base it is supported on.
The weight of both the device and the user head makes it possible for the device to keep its balance when the user moves the screen in all desired positions.
The device can be utilised while the user is lying (prone/supine) on either the floor or a chaise lounge. In the latter case, the base can be replaced by a clamp securing the sunshade onto the chaise lounge.
On the backside of the screen, a mirror can be mounted for vanity or for security.
The device can be folded up or disassembled according to the parts described above to allow a more convenient and comfortable transportation.
This low-weight device is extremely easy to mount and enables the user to place the shadow in the most proper position for his/her head without using hats, caps, suntan creams, sunglasses and the like.
It is particularly useful for sunbathing on solid surfaces (ground, rocks) onto which it is not convenient to raise beach umbrellas.
Among the main advantages of the device, the following can be listed: *) accessible to a wide range of people
*) useful wherever head sunlight protection is needed (gardens, beaches, mountains, boats, etc.)
*) compact (about a span when folded or disassembled)
*) low weight (less than a couple of hectograms) *) inexpensive (plastic product)
*) easy to fold/unfold and assemble/disassemble (few seconds)
*) multipurpose (sunlight/wind protection, vanity/security mirror)
*) not to be worn *) suitable for solid surfaces (ground, rocks, boats, etc.)
