Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un procédé et un appareil pour l'extraction de l'huile résiduelle à partir de fibres de mésocarpes d'un palmier à huile après l'extraction initiale d'huile. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : la réduction de la teneur en humidité des fibres de mésocarpes à moins de 10 % en poids ; le traitement des fibres de mésocarpes avec un solvant dans une enceinte fermée à une température comprise entre 45 et 55 °C pour obtenir un miscella contenant de l'huile et de fibres de mésocarpes déshuilées; l'extraction du miscella contenant de l'huile, du solvant et de l'humidité ; l'élimination du solvant des fibres de mésocarpes obtenues ; la séparation de l'huile, du solvant et de l'humidité respectivement du miscella. Le solvant utilisé est de l'hexane alimentaire. La teneur d'hexane dans l'huile de palme extraite est inférieure à 0,1 % en poids. La teneur en huile résiduelle des fibres de mésocarpes déshuilées est inférieure à 0,5 % en poids.
