Abstract

Polymer-modified nanoparticles are disclosed, which may be obtained by addition of at least one water-soluble polymer to a ternary micro-emulsion, working up and subsequent re-dispersion of the polymer-modified nanoparticles thus formed. The particle dimensions of the nanoparticles formed remain unaltered, increase or diminish during the working up and redispersion. Said polymer-modified nanoparticles serve for the production of semiconductor materials, nanocrystalline metals or nanostructured composite materials.
