Abstract

L'invention appartient au domaine du génie mécanique et concerne notamment des dispositifs destinés au meulage et au polissage d'articles en métal, en bois ou en pierre. L'invention permet d'augmenter la fiabilité, d'élargir la gamme des surfaces traitées, de réduire le temps de meulage et de polissage et de diminuer la présence de poussière dans les locaux. Selon l'invention, l'élément de meulage a la forme d'une hélice, avec une rainure pratiquée sur toute la longueur de sa surface externe, et destinée à contenir un matériau abrasif se présentant sous la forme d'un câble.
