  • the present invention concerns a plane, preferably shaped, applicable to surfaces, particularly walls or glass panes, which is simply and quickly usable, being apt to filter light and/or to screen or prevent view, for instance, through window panes, being also easy to be produced and inexpensive.
  • curtains present bulky dimensions. Moreover, they absorb odours, such as tobacco smoke and the ones coming from dishes, which may remain within rooms for a long time, necessarily requiring a frequent washing. Furthermore, it is not easily realisable an attenuation of light, entering through the windows, or its filtering which allows only its soft tonalities to be transmitted. Finally, curtains and roller shutters are not easily installed and involves maintenance difficulties, due to disassembly and reassembly. Moreover, they are substantially intended for application to windows, or between two rooms, in case of curtains, and they are not effectively usable for covering walls, for instance for concealing defects of walls.

  • the element 1 may, for example, have a lozenge, square, circular, oval, rectangular, or triangular, respectively, shape.
  • the material which may be indifferently opaque and/or translucid and/or transparent, allows view to be hindered and/or light to be filtered.
  • the plate in particular, in the case when the material is coloured, or even decorated with coloured drawings, the plate is also provided with an aesthetic effect besides the functional one; in the case when it is realised with a translucid and/or transparent material, the plate is apt to give a coloured luminosity to the room of the window to which it is applied, or a similarly coloured shading onto the wall to which it is applied.
