Abstract

La présente invention concerne des structures blindées comprenant des matériaux composites. Cette invention se caractérise en ce que le bloc de protection blindée mosaïque composite renferme des éléments blindés disposés dans une enveloppe métallique. Ces éléments blindés sont disposés de manière qu'ils soient séparés les uns des autres d'une distance inférieure au calibre d'une arme. L'enveloppe (7) est composée de métal ductile permettant d'obtenir des coulées entre les éléments blindés à la suite d'une compression volumétrique. Cette invention permet d'accroître la capacité de résistance d'un bloc de protection blindée ainsi que son efficacité d'utilisation.
