  • SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) The unit is also equipped with a refrigerating capacity for the storage of food for the maintenance of fish. The supply of this food produces waste that affects the health of the fish. To avoid this problem, there are automatic cleaning mechanisms that keep the cage in perfect health conditions thus avoiding fish diseases. It also has automatic remote control mechanisms from the command post, which expel dead fish outside.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une unité mobile de transport et d'engraissement de poissons en haute mer (UMTEP). La stabilité de l'UMTEP est obtenue au moyen de colonnes de support semi-immergées, tandis que le corps central se trouve en immersion. La configuration dudit corps central est semblable à celle d'un catamaran, et celui-ci comprend dans sa partie intérieure une piscine ou cage longitudinale continue permettant d'élever et d'engraisser des poissons. Ladite cage est déployée et abaissée par le fond de l'UMTEP dans des conditions d'ancrage, et hissée jusqu'à ce qu'elle se trouve au niveau du fond dans des conditions de navigation, au moyen de cabestans situés dans les colonnes de support. Le système d'ancrage par cabestan à travers une colonne de support centrale permet d'orienter l'UMTEP autour d'un point fixe.
