Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de transmission de puissance aux roues (4) d'un véhicule automobile comprenant un moteur thermique (10) et au moins une machine électrique (20, 30) associée à un convertisseur statique d'énergie (21, 31) et à des moyens d'alimentation et de stockage d'énergie, le procédé consistant à récupérer et à stocker l'énergie cinétique du véhicule dans des moyens d'alimentation et de stockage constitués par une supercapacité (80) et à réutiliser l'énergie stockée pour fournir de la puissance aux roues lorsque la vitesse du véhicule est stabilisée, le moteur thermique (10) étant alors arrêté.
