Abstract

The invention concerns an apparatus for controlled irrigation of plants in two operating modes. It provides drip-release of water or mixtures of water and soluble fertilizers at a constant or exponential rate for intervals ranging from a few hours up to several weeks. It is used for potted house plants (5) or outdoor plants. It consists of a cap (1) incorporating an air intake and water flow system, a support stake (26), a retaining cone (2) to be set in the soil (6) and a bottle (4) filled with water.
