Abstract

L'invention concerne des matériaux et des systèmes de réacteur avec régulation de l'humidité et/ou du gaz. Ce matériau peut posséder une grande perméabilité à l'oxygène et/ou une faible perméabilité à la vapeur d'eau. Dans certains cas, le matériau peut posséder une perméance et/ou une perméabilité suffisantes pour permettre qu'une culture cellulaire s'effectue dans une puce ou un autre système de réacteur à l'aide de ce matériau. Dans certains modes de réalisation, le matériau peut être placé adjacent à un site de réaction situé dans une puce ou un réacteur, ou venir buter sur ce site. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, le matériau peut être placé de façon à être en communication fluidique avec le site de réaction. Le matériau peut également être poreux et/ou transparent dans certains cas. Dans un ensemble de modes de réalisation, le matériau comprend un polymère qui est ramifié et/ou contient des groupes latéraux volumineux qui permettent à ce polymère d'avoir une structure plus ouverte. Dans certains cas, le matériau peut comprend au moins deux couches. Chaque couche possède une propriété voulue, qui peut comprendre, par exemple, la perméabilité, la transparence, une caractéristique cytophile, une caractéristique biophile, une caractéristique hydrophile ou une caractéristique structurelle. Dans certains modes de réalisation, le matériau peut être choisi de façon à promouvoir la croissance cellulaire dans la puce ou le réacteur.
