Abstract
L'aéronef à décollage et atterrissage verticaux est constitué d'un propulseur comprenant deux disques comportant en leur milieu un orifice et reliés par des pales. Les disques et les pales forment une turbine. Vu de haut, cette turbine est recouverte d'une aile semi-rigide, immobile par rapport au corps de l'aéronef. Pour assurer la stabilité de l'aéronef on utilise un nombre pair de turbines et la contre-rotation des turbines.
