To this end, the towei according to the invention comprises: an apron,
15 provided to be secured about the neck of a person holding bathing a baby; and a pocket secured to the apron, the pocket being dimensioned in such a manner to hoid the baby. This provides for a convenient transportation means for carrying the baby from the bath to the changing station.

In a second preferred embodiment, the drying towei further comprises at least one additional pocket, provided for holding baby care products. in a third preferred embodiment, the drying towei further compπses a pair or; of safety straps, provided to be detachabiy secured to the apron for holding the Dahy securely within the pocket. This will guarantee a safer transportation for the baby. in a fourth preferred embodiment, the apron comprises a lower end forming a cap for covering the head of the baby. This will ensure that the baby is well covered with towel material and stay warm.
A preferred embodiments of the towel according to the invention is now described by way of example with reference to the accompanying schematic drawings, in which:
FIGURE 1 is a plan view of the towel according to the invention. FIGURE 2 is a plan view of an alternative embodiment of the towel according to the invention. In Figure 1 , the towel is made of a rectangular shape and forms an apron
10 which can be secured about the neck of the person holding the baby using securing hooks 11 and 12. A pocket 13 is formed in the towel and is dimensioned in such a way that it can hold a baby. When the baby is positioned in the pocket of the towel, the lower end 14 of the towel may be used to dry the baby. Figure 2 shows an alternative embodiment, where the pocket 12 is detachably secured to the apron 10. To this end, securing means such as Velcro®, hooks, clips, or a combination of the preceding may be used. The lower end 14 of the towel comprises a cap 14, which is provided to fit about the head of the baby. To increase security, safety straps 19 are provided for being secured to safety strap hooks 20. The apron is secured about the neck with a neck strap 11. Back tie strings 16 provide for extra support.
It should be noted that all additional accessories shown in Figure 2, such as the safety strap, the cap, ... are not mandatory, but each have some advantages. -Similarly, these additional accessories can be implemented in the embodiment shown in Figure 1. Additional features could also be provided. For example, the towel may also comprise one or two side portions facilitating drying of the baby.

2. The drying towei of claim 1 , wherein the pocket is detachably secured to the apron.
3. The drying towel of any one of the preceding claims, further comprising at least one additional pocket, provided for holding baby care products.
