Abstract

The aim of the invention is to prevent damage and injuries caused by acid leaking from a vehicle battery following an accident in which the vehicle has been involved. Said aim is achieved by a battery arrangement which is provided with a case (2) comprising several layers. The inner layers are absorbent, absorbing liquid leaking from a battery (1) that has been damaged in an accident, while the outer layers are crash-absorbent and impermeable to battery acid.
