  • the lock has been unlocked by merely pushing the head of the - seen in the figure - right sliding bolt into the outer actuator part 20 whereas the left sliding part still is in its outer position.
  • the combination lock can thus be unlocked from both the outside and inside of the door. If the actuator on one side is turned away from the code and the combination lock is in its locked state, the actuator on the first side must however first be coded before the combination lock can be unlocked from the other side.
  • Both lock types have the advantage that a thief cannot unlock the lock and get out of the door with stolen goods .
  • the combination lock in the second embodiment furthermore has the considerable advantage that a person being behind a locked door and knowing the code will be able to lock himself or herself out without a key which during e.g. a fire cannot be found in the hurry or which can be in a place on fire and therefore inaccessible.
  • Figs . 6 and 7 show a third embodiment of the combination lock used for locking an only fractionally shown door 1 to an only fractionally shown door case 2.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une serrure à combinaison comprenant un boîtier (3) de verrouillage tubulaire définissant un axe et une ouverture libre à une extrémité, un verrou coulissant (12) installé de manière coaxiale et mobile dans le boîtier et s'avançant à travers l'ouverture de ce dernier, et qui présente un logement (16) de clavette longitudinal et plusieurs rainures (15) circonférentielles, plusieurs disques (7) à code montés de manière rotative dans le boîtier et comprenant chacun une ouverture centrale (9) à travers laquelle s'avance le verrou coulissant, et un goujon (10) s'avançant dans l'ouverture centrale et venant s'insérer dans les rainures et dans le logement de clavette du verrou coulissant, un dispositif d'actionnement (18) placé de manière coaxiale et rotative dans le boîtier et conçu pour tourner successivement les disques de code, comprenant une partie externe munie d'un cadran, s'avançant à travers de l'ouverture du boîtier, et des pivots d'entraînement (11) placés sur les disques de code de manière à assurer par une action concourante l'alignement des goujons dans le logement de clavette du verrou coulissant lorsque le dispositif d'actionnement est tourné successivement en relation avec des repères du boîtier, pour être positionné sur les chiffres correspondant à un code spécifique. Cette serrure à combinaison comprend en outre un verrou (26) installé de manière mobile dans le boîtier, et un segment denté (24) agissant entre le verrou et le verrou coulissant de manière à entraîner le déplacement simultané des deux pièces lorsque la serrure à combinaison est activée. Cette serrure à combinaison présent ainsi une conception simple et peu coûteuse permettant un montage rapide, aisé et sûr, par exemple sur une porte. Si une personne se trouvant derrière une porte de secours verrouillée équipée d'une serrure pouvant être actionnée sur les deux côtés au moyen d'une clé n'a pas trouvé ou ne peut trouver la clé rapidement, ou si cette clé se trouve à un endroit inaccessible en raison d'un incendie, cette personne sera incapable d'ouvrir la porte et de sortir et sa vie sera par conséquent en danger.
