Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système et sur un procédé de détermination de la localisation d'un dispositif (dispositif cible) dans un environnement radio sans fil. Le procédé consiste à émettre un premier signal. Le dispositif cible émet un second signal. Le premier signal et le second signal sont reçus au niveau d'au moins deux emplacements connus à proximité du dispositif cible. L'emplacement du dispositif cible est calculé à partir de la différence du temps d'arrivée du premier signal et de celui du second signal au niveau d'au moins deux emplacements. Cette technique ne nécessite pas de prise de mesures au niveau des emplacements connus à synchroniser dans le temps, et peut être réalisée totalement par logiciel, si souhaité, par prétraitement en temps non réel.
