Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de préparation d'une surface terminale d'une puce à guides d'ondes polymères. Ce procédé consiste mettre en contact ladite surface terminale avec une lame et les frotter l'une contre l'autre. Dans un mode de réalisation la lame utilisée est une lame de microtome. Lorsque la surface terminale est préparé de façon à être suffisamment lisse, un dispositif optique, tel qu'au moins une fibre optique, est connecté à la surface terminale préparée. L'invention concerne en outre une puce à guides d'ondes optiques polymères constituée selon le procédé de l'invention.
