Abstract

The invention relates to coating in electrostatic field and can be used in the steel industry for devices for electrostatic oiling of steel strip. The aim of the invention is to increase time between failures, improve the maintainability and storage property of the device by scheduled maintenance of the oil spraying beam of an oil supply system at least by means of the maintenance service of a user. The inventive method consists in arranging at least one of two rows of fixing elements which joint metallic sections for forming a nozzle body in such a way that it is possible to set and adjust the size of a specified narrow gap of the nozzle channel and to carry out an additional adjustment with the aid of a squeezing unit arranged between the fixing elements. The desired result is achieved, for example by eliminating the influence of the deformation of metallic sections upon the size of the narrow gap inside the body, or by improving heat-transfer process from an oil heating system to an expendable oil system in the body, or by embodying in the body at least one localised expansion of the channel along the expendable oil spraying edge, i.e. forming an additional channel for additional distribution of the expendable oil etc.
