Abstract

According to this invention, custom-made pillow with height control, it can support cervical vertebral line closely based on height of user's cervical vertebral by controlling type and amount of inserts in the pillow body, and can hold inserts moving either side of the pillow so that laryngeal region is naturally fixed and cervical vertebral is naturally supported leading comfortable sleeping environment. And also, by using this pillow, the user can maintain comfortable position while watching television and doing other things and keep user's body and mind healthy with incense inside the pillow. Furthermore, industrial additional value is increased since this pillow can be produced with measurement of user's cervical vertebral height based on his/her body shape.

Description

CUSTOM-MADE PILLOW WITH HEIGHT CONTROL

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Field of the Invention:

This invention refers to a custom-made pillow with height control and it is

about a pillow perfectly fit to each person in human-technological way by measuring the

height of the pillow with specially designed measure depending on the user's gender,

age, body volume, head shape, neck length and height of cervical vertebral.

Description of the prior art:

Generally, high pillow has been used in korean culture from the past. However

using the high pillow can cause curving of cervical vertebral to the front which

motivates disorder of blood circulation by constriction of blood vessel. And it also

causes difficulty in breathing (snoring) due to airway getting shallow and ache, disk disorder, lame back and arthritis also occur because of disorder of spine, neck bone or

muscle lump. And also when slept in bad position it produces sleep shortage and

tiredness which carries concentration lack and uneasiness along.

Most of pillow sold in market have fixed level of height and have cotton, polypropylene

(PP) ^cmP i^{n me} main body of the pillow so that its fixed height changes when it is used for long period of time. And that kind of pillow loses its balance and height since the

materials inside the pillow are moved to either side when it has been used for certain amount of time. Also, pillow made of hard materials such as wood can cause paift and

ache since the cervical vertebral does not touch the ground or the bed when the person is

in sleep.

If pillow is used ignoring adequate angle (5 degrees) between cervical vertebral and the

ground, the person would have pain on whole body including related body such as neck

or head and not refreshed at all since it mal-effects whole nerve connected to spine.

Therefore, high demand on custom-made pillow which the user can maintain right

cervical vertebral line by naturally supporting cervical vertebral and fixing laryngeal

region has been grown up.

Furthermore, with increasing interest on health along with development of the

society, a pillow which can satisfy people's demands such as mitigating neck disk

disorder and spraining of patient or snoring and broken sleep of insomniac by providing them comfortable sleep environment and providing comfortable height of pillow when

users are watching television or laying on side way and promoting health with healthy

materials is highly demanded by people however there isn't one to fit to their request at this point yet.

Summary of the Invention For this pillow consisting main pillow body put into pillow cover, elastic band forcing

constant pressure to both circumferences of a pair of cervical vertebral supporting

material which is connected in 3 level and connecting material connecting a pair of cervical vertebral supporting material, the main pillow body has laryngeal region fixing

material supporting laryngeal region higher than laryngeal region supporting part and

zipper #1 to put inserts into the pillow body on the side. And a pair of cervical vertebral

supporting material is divided into cervical vertebral supporting part and cervical

vertebral supporting part 2, which is designed with different height, length and width.

And also this pillow with height control has zipper #2 to enclose the material inserted

into pillow body. The special feature of this pillow is that it can support line of cervical

vertebral in close by height of user's cervical vertebral and prevent leaning of materials

to the side. And also by attaching incense pocket user wants on both side of this pillow,

it can promote users physical and mental meditation and cure effect.

Detailed description of preferred embodiments

The present invention will be described in detail by way of a preferred

embodiment with reference to accompanying drawings.

To solve those problems ordinary pillows have, this invention was put on project to

create a pillow with height control since users' gender, age, body volume, head shape,

length of neck and height of cervical vertebral are different individually.

Therefore the objective of this invention is to provide pillow leading comfortable sleep

environment with natural support of cervical vertebral and laryngeal region. And also, another objective of this invention is to provide comfortable position and to

provide custom-made pillow leading health of the users by inserting incense pocket users want on both side of pillow body in any type.

Structure and function of the invention

Figures attached to this invention are explained as followed.

The special features of this pillow consisting pillow body (11) inserted to pillow cover,

elastic band (25) pressuring inserts not to move to one side by being attached to both circumferences of a pair of cervical vertebral supporting material (21),3 pairs of cervical

vertebral supporting material connected to main pillow body and connecting material

(not shown on the figure) connecting a pair of cervical vertebral supporting material

(21) with pillow body are that this pillow has laryngeal region fixing material (12) on

both side of pillow built higher than laryngeal region supporting part (13), zipper #1

(14) to enclose inserts inside pillow body, a pair of cervical vertebral supporting

material(21) divided into cervical vertebral supporting part 1 and cervical vertebral

supporting part 2 (22,23) by different length, height and width and zipper #2 (24) on the

side to enclose inserts inside pillow body.

Since laryngeal region fixing material (12) on pillow body mentioned above is higher

than laryngeal region supporting part (13), laryngeal region is naturally fixed and

depending on individual head shape, type and amount of inserts refilled through zipper

#1 (14) is decided to control the height of the pillow.

It is quite adequate for height and length cervical vertebral supporting part 2 (23) are longer than cervical vertebral supporting part 1 (22) to support line of cervical vertebral

in close way even if it is different by individual's body shape.

And also, inserts can be refilled or recharged by zipper #2 on a side of cervical vertebral

supporting material (21) mentioned above and the height of cervical vertebral

supporting part 1 and 2 (22, 23) are decided depending on type and amount of inserts.

By this design, laryngeal region supporting part of user is placed on laryngeal region

supporting part (13) and cervical .vertebral part touches cervical vertebral supporting

part 1 and 2 (22, 23) and it is adequate to decide type and amount of inserts of pillow body (11) and cervical vertebral supporting material (21) to maintain head for 5 degrees

to up.

"cervical vertebral" mentioned above includes neck part and cervical vertebral part.

A pair of cervical vertebral supporting material (21) attached to both side of this

custom-made pillow can manage different height if user wants. Precisely, if the user

wants high pillow he/she can use higher side of cervical vertebral supporting material

and can use other side of cervical vertebral supporting material by turning it around if

he/she wants lower pillow. And also, cervical vertebral supporting material (21) mentioned above is held for inserts

in the pillow not to move either to left or right by elastic (25) attached to cervical

vertebral supporting material (21) and sewing line (26). In detail, the sewing line

prevents inserts moving up and downward (1) and elastic band (26) prevents inserts

moving left or right (w) so that custom-made pillow (1) can maintain its height for a

long period of time. Types of connecting material (not shown on the figure) connecting the pillow body (11)

and a pair of cervical vertebral supporting material (21) can be string, sewing or

attaching-type and pillow body (11) and cervical vertebral supporting material (21) can

be separated if necessary. For material that is inserted into pillow body (11) and a pair of cervical vertebral

supporting material (21) through zipper 1 and 2 (14, 24), elastic material such as cotton,

goose fur, silk, polyurethane, mineral substances such as jade, yellow sand, elvan, bio-

ceramic, plastic material such as polyethylene (pe), polypropylene (pp) and grains such as ^_] , buckwheat, bean, red-bean, indian millet, wheat, millet can be used.

Especially, those mineral substances such as elvan, jade, yellow sand and bio-ceramic

can create living energy growth effect, white blood cell strengthening effect, tiredness

recovery effect, blood circulation effect, body moisture maintain effect, effete

matter/metallic substances push-out effect and sickness prevention and cure effect.

In this invention, other than those mentioned above, insertion of incense which fits to

function of soft rosin is also included. In korean, along with other countries in the world

is using incense for mental meditation and illness treatment and this created hopeful

result of mitigate of pain and treatment of illness by solve stress problem or insomnia

and also it grows concentration by mental meditation. There are doctors treating illness

with aromatherapy and their studies are also interesting enough to watch with close

attention. Meditation of body and thought and cure effect occur when inhaling incense

while sleeping. There are many ways of inserting incense into pillow body. One of them is inserting the incense user chose with injector into cotton of pillow body and another

way is to soak the cotton in incense and put that into elastic soft rosin chip. The incense

inserted in those ways is provides not only comfortable sleeping area but also all over the environment. Once the incense is gone after a long time, the incense can be refilled in any of those ways.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. Custom-made pillow with height control consisting pillow body (11) inserted to

pillow cover, elastic band (25) pressuring inserts not to move to one side by being

attached to both circumferences of a pair of cervical vertebral supporting material (21),

1 pairs of cervical vertebral supporting material connected to main pillow body and

connecting material (not shown on the figure) connecting a pair of cervical vertebral

supporting material (21) with pillow body,

With the pillow body (11) mentioned above which has zipper #1 (14) where inserts for

pillow body can be inserted through is attached to a side of laryngeal region fixing

material(12) and side of the pillow which laryngeal region fixing material(12) is

produced higher than laryngeal region supporting part (13) of the pillow, And a pair of cervical vertebral supporting material (21) having different height and

length and cervical vertebral supporting part 1 and 2 (22, 23) divided by sewing line

(26) in width direction and zipper #2 for inserts entrance.

2. Custom-made pillow with height control with its cervical vertebral supporting part 2

(23) having longer height and length than cervical vertebral supporting part (22) in

claim 1.

3. Custom-made pillow with height control holding users head 5 degrees up by cervical vertebral supporting part 1 and 2 (22, 23) and laryngeal region supporting part (13)

mentioned above in claim 1.

4. Custom-made pillow with height control having incense-inserted soft rosin chip and incense pocket inside the pillow mentioned above in claim 1.
