Abstract

The invention relates to an auxiliary device that facilitates the movement of standard pushchairs over sandy or similar surfaces. The inventive device comprises rolling elements which are provided with a raised rolling surface which prevents said elements from sinking into the sand. The aforementioned rolling elements can be incorporated into one or more of the standard wheel trains of the pushchair and removably fixed to the structure of said pushchair. Moreover, said device comprises a removable traction handle which can be connected to the front or rear part of the pushchair depending on the direction in which the pushchair is being moved and on the exact type of pushchair. The above-mentioned rolling elements and traction handle can be used together or independently and the handle is designed such that, once installed, it does not impede the normal operation or folding of the pushchair.
