Abstract

The invention relates to a retractable, foldable ornament comprising a three-pointed star which is circumscribed in an annular body, said ornament corresponding to the distinctive symbol of the manufacturer of the motor vehicle on which it is mounted. Said retractable, foldable ornament (1) is associated with a first distinctive symbol which is defined by a three-pointed star (2) that is circumscribed in an articulated annular body (3) formed by a series of arc-shaped sections (4). The aforementioned sections are symmetrical in relation to the central vertical axis thereof and are rotationally interconnected. Moreover, the ornament (1) is associated with a second distinctive symbol (15) which is defined by means of a plate body. The invention is equipped with means of supporting the ornament (1) in the folded position, means of positioning the ornament (1) and the second distinctive symbol (15) in the alternate retracted position, means of displaying the ornament (1) and the second distinctive symbol (15) and means of actuating and moving the ornament (1) and the body associated with same.

Description

ORNAMENTAL FOLDING AND ESCAMOTEABLE ELEMENT. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The following Utility Model, as expressed in the statement of the present specification, refers to a foldable and retractable ornamental element, whose ornamental element is constituted by a three-pointed star circumscribed in an annular body, the ornamental element is of preferred utility as a distinctive sign in motor vehicles, so that the ornamental element is capable of adopting an exposure position in the unfolded state and a retracted position in the folded state.

Thus, when the motor vehicle carrying the ornamental element is with the engine stopped, the ornamental element is in a state of retracted folding, not being visible, while at the time the engine is put into operation, the ornamental element appears from its retracted position. , at the same time as it unfolds, the figure relative to the ornamental element being configured.

SCOPE. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, as is known, all automobile vehicle manufacturers incorporate their

SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) distinctive sign or logo, so that said badge can be materialized, either by a three-dimensional body constituting the said badge, or by a plaque that incorporates the badge, said badge or logo being the one that is fixed, by one of its faces, to the vehicle body in the desired place.

Likewise, the badge or logo can be defined by a three-dimensional body fixed to the body of the vehicle in the desired place.

In this way, regardless of whether the badge or logo materializes in one way or another, the inconvenience arises that, with relative frequency, it is detached by third parties which affects the overall aesthetics of the vehicle.

Thus, this situation occurs with some frequency, since, unfortunately, there are numerous unscrupulous people who start the badges or logos of parked vehicles taking advantage of the absence of the owner.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION This document describes a folding and retractable ornamental element, the ornamental element being constituted by a three-pointed star circumscribed in an annular body, whose ornamental element corresponds to a distinctive sign of a manufacturer of motor vehicles on which it is mounted , so that the folding and retractable ornamental element, as the first distinctive sign, is defined by a three-pointed star circumscribed in an annular body, whose annular body is constituted by a series of arched, symmetrical sections with respect to its vertical central axis, and rotatably connected to each other, said ornamental element being associated with a second distinctive sign defined by a sheet body, being provided with means to keep the ornamental element in the folded position, means for the alternate positioning of the ornamental element and the second distinctive sign, means for visible alternating exposure of the elem ornamental ento and the second distinctive sign defined by a body of sheet metal, and means for the

Thus, it is a matter of being able to hide distinctive signs mounted on vehicles that, due to their mounting method, with a certain ease, are torn off, affecting the aesthetics of the vehicle.

On the other hand, the three-pointed star circumscribed in the annular body is joined at its ends to corresponding arcuate sections constituting the said annular body, and whose star has two articulated points in proximity to its birth base and with at least one of the telescopic star tips.

In this way, it is allowed that the ornamental element can be folded and unfolded, to adapt to one or another position.

The means to keep the ornamental element in the folded position are defined by a piece rotatably joined to the two lower arcuate sections of the annular body, with respect to its central side of the attachment, which is requested by a spring that keeps the ornamental element in folding position. The means for the alternate positioning of the ornamental element and the second distinctive sign are defined by a receptacle concealed by the body, in which receptacle a first passenger compartment for the removal of the ornamental element and a second passenger compartment for the veneering of the sheet body are defined. relative to the second distinctive sign.

The retractable receptacle, preferably, will remain under the hood of the vehicle, since, normally, motor vehicles have an ornamental element, relative to a distinctive sign or manufacturer's mark, on the front of the hood. SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) In view of the aforementioned figures and according to the numbering adopted we can see how the ornamental element 1 is defined by a three-pointed star 2 circumscribed in an articulated annular body 3, whose annular body 3 is constituted by a series of sections 4 arched and symmetrical with respect to its vertical axis, which are rotatably joined to each other, to allow folding and unfolding.

In a third practical embodiment of the invention, according to Figures 7 and 8, the pair of points 13 of the star 2 are rotatable with respect to the corresponding axis 5, and, also, are telescopic retracting, while the tip 14 remains unchanged in its longitude. The progressive advance of the serrated 26 will cause its other end stop on the articulated elbow 24 of the sheet metal body 15 overcoming the pressure of the spring 29 until said sheet body 15 is positioned with respect to the hole 20 of the hood 16 by gripping it.

Both the ornamental element 1 and the sheet body 15 in its exposure position stop on the hood 16, and, likewise, the motor 27 is provided with an electronic protection that detects an overcurrent and cuts the power to the motor, thus stopping in the two final positions of both movable elements.
