Abstract

L'invention concerne des aiguilles de cautérisation comprenant une aiguille pourvue d'une tige d'aiguille creuse, électro-conductrice, et une gaine isolante disposée sur ladite tige conductrice. L'invention concerne également des méthodes d'utilisation de ladite aiguille de cautérisation. Une de ces méthodes consiste à faire passer une aiguille de cautérisation à travers un tissu vasculaire; à isoler ce tissu de la tige de cautérisation de l'aiguille; à cautériser le tissu uniquement au moyen de la pointe de la tige d'aiguille; et à retirer ou à administrer une substance par l'intermédiaire d'une seringue fixée sur l'aiguille. L'appareil et/ou la méthode selon l'invention permet de cautériser de manière sélective des tissus et/ou vaisseaux spécifiques, au moyen d'une seringue fixée sur ladite aiguille de cautérisation.
