Abstract
Une unité de raccordement de pièces planes (1, 2) comprend des tenons (4, 6) comportant des parties de surface obliques et des mortaises (3, 5) correspondantes. En coupe transversale, les tenons (3, 5) ont à leur base une épaisseur inférieure à celle de leur partie avant, et les mortaises (4, 6) ont en coupe longitudinale, au niveau de leur partie enfouie, une épaisseur supérieure à celle de la partie d'entrée. Chaque tenon (3, 5) a en coupe transversale une forme qui correspond à celle du tenon correspondant (4, 6), les parties de bord avant (3, 5) et les parties enfouies sur les bords de chaque mortaise (4, 6) étant taillées en biais, avec des parties réciproquement inclinées vers l'arrière, les parties de bord taillées en biais de chaque pièce à raccorder étant appariées aux parties de bord en biais des mortaises correspondantes de l'autre pièce de raccordement.
