Abstract

L'invention concerne un système électronique de surveillance d'articles et un lecteur de données intégré, ainsi que des procédés d'utilisation associés. Dans une configuration, un lecteur de données, tel qu'un scanner de code barre, est équipé d'un module de désactivation dudit système électronique de surveillance d'articles disposé à proximité de la surface du scanner, de préférence en aval et/ou en amont de la fenêtre de scanner. Ledit système peut être configuré de manière à ce que le module de désactivation du système électronique de surveillance soit interchangeable du côté gauche dudit logement de scanner (qui est préféré pour le mouvement de balayage de gauche à droite) au côté droit dudit logement du scanner (qui est préféré pour un mouvement de balayage de droite à gauche). Dans d'autres configurations, le module de désactivation peut être disposé dans le logement adjacent à la fenêtre et orienté de manière longitudinale et parallèle à la direction de balayage dudit article. Lesdits modules de désactivation du système électronique de surveillance d'articles présentent de nombreuses configurations, tels que des enroulements plats simples, un noyau actif magnétiquement doté d'une bobineuse, ou une construction en deux parties en forme de L.
