Abstract

Beschrieben wird eine Eingabevorrichtung mit einem Eingabestift, der eine Einrichtung zur Erzeugung eines Magnetfeldes umfaßt, einem örtlichen Eingabebereich, innerhalb dessen die örtliche Lage des Eingabestifts zu bestimmen ist, sowie einer Anordnung zum Erfassen der örtlichen Lage des Eingabestifts innerhalb des örtlichen Eingabebereichs, worin die Anordnung zum Erfassen der örtlichen Lage des Eingabestifts wenigstens eine magnetische Kompasssensoranordnung zum Detektieren einer Richtung der Feldlinien des Magnetfeldes am Ort dieser Kompasssensoranordnung sowie eine Auswertestufe zur Bestimmung wenigstens einer die örtliche Lage des Eingabestifts innerhalb des örtlichen Eingabebereichs darstellenden räumlichen Koordinate aus der erfassten örtlichen Lage des Eingabestifts enthält. Dadurch wird eine einfache und preiswerte Eingabevorrichtung geschaffen.
