Abstract

The invention relates to a measuring rod, particularly an oil level plunger, comprising a rod-shaped element for plunging into a vessel containing a medium, particularly oil. A grip part is arranged at one end of the inventive measuring rod while a measuring tongue is disposed at the other end thereof. The measuring tongue is provided with at least one measuring device for detecting the status of the medium while the grip part comprises a display device displaying the variables detected by the measuring device.
