Abstract

Um in einem Zwischengefäss eine möglichst hohe Abscheiderate an Fremdpartikel bei zugleich minimierter Produktion von Einschlüssen zu erreichen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass der ausgemauerte Innenraum des Zwischengefässes (1) in Abhängigkeit von einer Betriebs-Badspiegelhöhe (h) die Bedingung erfüllt, dass ein dimensionsloses Verhältnis (λ) der ausgemauerten Oberfläche (Aref) zum von dieser ausgemauerten Oberfläche und der badspiegelhöhenabhängigen freien Oberfläche (ATop) umgrenztes Füllvolumen (V), welches sich aus der Beziehung Formel (I) ergibt, zwischen 3,83 und 4,39 liegt.
