Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Manipulieren kleinster Flüssigkeitstropfen mit einer nach oben offenen ultraphoben Oberfläche, die im Bereich der hydrophoben Oberfläche ein Raster mit im wesentlichen gleichmässig verteilten Elektroden aufweist, mit denen jeweils ein elektrisches Feld erzeugbar ist und bei der gleichzeitig jeweils mindestens eine Elektrode von einer automatisierten Steuerungseinrichtung jeweils für einen bestimmeten Zeitraum mit einer elektrischen Spannung individuell so ansteuerbar ist, dass die Flüssigkeitstropfen auf der ultraphoben Oberfläche jeweils eine ganz bestimmte Bahn mit einer ganz bestimmten Geschwindigkeit durchlaufen.
